  • How do I configure my Disqus account to work with my Website Builder?

    Our Website Builder uses for our blog comments. is a blog comment hosting service that helps you engage your audience, retain your readers, and see your success. is already installed on all of our Website Builders, but you will also need to create an account and set it up it within your Website Builder as well. To get started, please follow these steps: Visit the website. Enter your name and email address. Select "I want to install on my site". Enter your website name. For example, . Select your category and press the "Create Site" button. Select your plan (Basic is free). Skip step 2 as is already installed on our website builder platform. Select option 3 "Configure ". Enter your Website URL and press the "Next" button. Complete Comment and Moderation Settings and click on "Complete Setup". Copy your website short name shown in General settings. Enter that in your Website Builder blog settings. Your blog comments should work after some time.

  • How do I change my default comment settings for all of my Website Builder blog posts?

    Our Website Builder blog offers you the option to turn comments on or off within each post as well as the ability to choose on or off as your default setting for all posts. To set your default, please follow these steps: Sign in to your Dynadot account. Select "My Websites" from the left-side menu bar. Click on the "Edit Site" button next to the website builder you want to use. Click on your main "Blog" page. Click on the "Website Builder" option, followed by the "Blog" option on the left-hand tool bar. Click on the "Blog Settings" button at the top of the tool bar. Scroll down to where it says "Comment default" and choose "on" or "off" from the drop down menu. Click "Save" at the top of the page to save your changes.   • How do I add a new blog post to my Website Builder?

    Our Website Builder makes it easy to start your blog! All of our templates start you off with a "blog" page that is already set up for you (if you don't have this page, find out how to add a blog page). To add a new post to your blog, please follow these steps: Sign in to your Dynadot account. Select "My Websites" from the left-side menu bar. Click on the "Edit Site" button next to the Website Builder you want to use. Click on your blog page from the navigation bar. Click on the "Website Builder" option, followed by the "Blog" option on the left-hand tool bar. Click "Add Post" on the left-hand tool bar. Here you can add your title and content for your blog post. Once your post is ready, you can choose to "Save Draft" or "Publish" at the top. You can also "Delete" your post or simply click "Back" and discard any changes you've made if you don't want to publish or keep your post. To set whether comments are on or off, your categories, tags, and your author name and image, click "Post Settings" at the top of the page. You can also edit the settings after you've published the post on your blog by using the same "Post Settings" button. Once your post is ready, click the "Save" button at the top of the page. Please note: Our free plan does not support blog unfortunately. Our Pro plan allows unlimited numbers of blog posts.     Our Website Builder makes it easy to start your blog! All of our templates come with a "blog" page that is already set up to allow you to easily manage posts, add categories, archive posts, and more.If you would like to add a blog page to your site, you will need to upgrade to the Pro plan. Then, follow these steps: Sign in to your Dynadot account. Select "My Websites" from the left-side menu bar. Click on the "Edit Site" button next to the Website Builder you want to use. Click on the "Website Builder" option, followed by the "Pages" option on the left-hand tool bar. Click "Add" at the top. Please note that if you are using our free version, you can only have one page (also blog is not supported by free version). If you have too many pages, you'll need to delete one or upgrade to access more pages, blog posts, and tools. Select "Blog" under "Page Type" and then make sure to add the navigation title you want (it does not have to be "blog"), and the page layout you want.   • I turned my blog comments on. Why aren't they showing?

    If you want to add comments to your Website Builder blog, you need to create an account on Disqus first. Creating an account is free and once you've successfully created your account, you don't need to install any code! Instead, you just need to enter your Disqus shortname in your Website Builder by following these instructions: Sign in to your Dynadot account. Select "My Websites" from the left-side menu bar. Click on the "Edit Site" button next to the website builder you want to use. Click on your main "Blog" page. Click on the "Website Builder" option, followed by the "Blog" option on the left-hand tool bar. Click on the "Blog Settings" button at the top of the tool bar. Scroll down and enter your "DISQUS FORUM SHORTNAME" in the space provided. Click "Save" at the top of the settings to save your changes. If you go to your website, you should see comments available on the posts where you allow them. By default, each blog post you create will have comments set to "on." You can change your default comment settings from within your Website Builder. You can also adjust the comment settings for an individual blog post.

  • How do I view or edit my blog's advanced settings?

    Creating a blog is easy with our Website Builder. To customize the look of your blog, you will need to edit your advanced settings. To do so, please follow these steps: Sign in to your Dynadot account. Select "My Websites" from the left-side menu bar. Click on the "Edit Site" button next to the Website Builder you want to access. Open your Blog page within the editor. Click on the "Website Builder" option, followed by the "Blog" option on the left-hand tool bar. Click on the "Blog Settings" option. You can make the changes you want here. NOTE: Options with a green star are features only available to the Website Builder Pro packages. Upgrade to access these features.

  • How do I create a blog page in my Website Builder?

    Creating a blog is easy with our Website Builder. To get started with your blog, you'll first need to create your blog page. To do so, please follow these steps: Sign in to your Dynadot account. Select "My Websites" from the left-side menu bar. Click on the "Edit Site" button next to the Website Builder you want to access. Click on the "Website Builder" option, followed by the "Pages" option on the left-hand tool bar. Click on the "Add" button. Under "Page Type", select "Blog" and enter the "Navigation Title" for your page. Click on the "SAVE" button to save your changes. Please note the following limitations: Free plan: Maximum of 5 blog post in draft list. Please upgrade before posting them. Pro plan: Unlimited blog posts. Upgrade to unlock more pages, blog posts, and many more awesome features!

  • Can I turn the comments on or off on an individual blog post within your Website Builder?

    Yes, you can set whether or not you want your comments on or off within each individual blog post in our Website Builder. By default, each blog post will have comments set to "on" when you create a new blog page unless you've changed your default comment settings. If you want to change the comment setting for an individual blog post, please follow these instructions: Sign in to your Dynadot account. Select "My Websites" from the left-side menu bar. Click on the "Edit Site" button next to the website builder you want to use. Click on your main "Blog" page. Click on the "Website Builder" option, followed by the "Blog" option on the left-hand tool bar. Click on "Post List." Alongside the post you would like to edit, click the 3 horizontal dots and then choose "Post Settings". Check/uncheck "Allow Comments" when you want your comments "on" or "off" for that blog post.   • How do I hide a blog post?

    Our Website Builder makes it easy to manage your blog! If you'd like to hide a post on your blog, please follow these steps: Sign in to your Dynadot account. Select "My Websites" from the left-side menu bar. Click on the "Edit Site" button next to the Website Builder you want to use. Click on your blog page from the navigation bar. Click on the "Website Builder" option, followed by the "Blog" option on the left-hand tool bar. Click "Post List" on the left-hand tool bar. Here you can view and manage your existing blog posts. To toggle a post's visibility, click on the 'eye' icon to the left of the post's title. A line should appear crossing through the eye icon to show that it has been hidden. You can also hover your mouse over the 'eye' icon to view a bubble showing either "Visible" or "Hidden" depending on the post's current status. Please note: Our free plan does not support blog unfortunately. Our Pro plan allows unlimited numbers of blog posts. Upgrade to get blog posts, more pages, and tools.
