• How do I connect my domain with my Website Builder?

  To connect a domain to your Website Builder, the domain must be in the same Dynadot account as the Website Builder you want to connect to. If this is the case, please follow these steps: Sign in to your Dynadot account. Select "My Websites" from the left-side menu bar. Click "Add New Website" button on the upper right of the page. Search for a domain or link an existing domain. If linking an existing domain, skip to step 5. Complete the new registration order, go back and choose "link an existing domain". Enter the domain name, choose free plan and click "Start Website". A free website builder plan will be created and you could click on "Edit Site" button next to it. Consider upgrading to the Pro plan for additional tools and features. Choose Pro plan and click Add to cart button to complete the upgrade order. (The price is based on the remaining days of your domain) Make sure you have "Update domain dns to use sitebuilder" checked Start editing your website builder. If you prefer to start from the domain details page, follow the steps here: Sign in to your Dynadot account. Click on the domain name link you want to use. On the new page, find "Start Your free website". Click the "Edit Site" button for the free plan or click "upgrade" to submit the upgrade order. Make sure you have "Update domain dns to use sitebuilder" checked. Complete the order and start editing your website builder. NOTE: To ensure your website is accessible online, linking a domain to a website builder isn't enough. Please confirm that you've properly connected the domain to the website builder by updating the domain DNS to use website builder. NOTE: Once your domain is linked, it cannot be unlinked. However, you can disconnect the domain from the website builder by setting it to another hosting service. Should you wish to connect a website builder to a domain from another registrar, you'll need to transfer the domain to your Dynadot account.Should you wish to connect a website builder to a domain from another Dynadot account, you'll need to initiate a Change Ownership request to move the domain to the Dynadot account that creates the Website Builder.

• How do I upgrade my Website Builder plan?

  To upgrade your Website Builder plan, please follow these steps: Sign in to your Dynadot account. Select "My Websites" from the left-side menu bar. Click on the "Upgrade" button next to the Website Builder you want to upgrade and it will be added to your shopping cart. Click "View Cart", or the shopping cart icon at the top, to go to your shopping cart. Follow the "Checkout" buttons to submit your order.

• How do I create a new Website Builder?

  To create a new Website Builder, please follow these steps: Sign in to your Dynadot account. Select "My Websites" from the left-side menu bar. Click on the "Add New Website" button. Either link an existing domain currently in your Dynadot account or search a new domain name. Add to cart and checkout. Upon order completion, you can choose the template you want to use. A new browser tab will load the template. You can now start editing!Please note: A web builder must be connected to your Dynadot domain.

• How do I connect my domain with my Website Builder using DNS?

  To connect a domain to your Website Builder, the domain must be in the same Dynadot account as the Website Builder you want to connect to it. If this is the case, please follow these steps to connect your domain to the Website Builder using DNS: Sign in to your Dynadot account. Select "My Domains" from the left-side menu bar and click "Manage Domains" in the drop-down menu. Check the box next to your domain name(s) and click on the "Action" button. Choose "DNS Settings" from the "Action" list. In the "Domain Record (optional)" section, select "A" from the drop-down menu and then enter "54.177.117.207" in the "IP Address or Target Host" box. For the next line of the "Domain Record (optional)" section, select "A" from the drop-down menu and then enter "54.177.158.246" in the "IP Address or Target Host" box. In the "Subdomain Records (optional)" section, enter "www" as the subdomain, select "A" from the drop-down menu and then enter "50.18.238.17" in the "IP Address or Target Host" box. Press the "Save DNS" button to save your changes. NOTE: Your domain must be linked directly to your Website Builder before you can connect to the Website builder using DNS. Please be aware that it may take some time for your settings to propagate. Your settings should look similar to what is shown below: If you want to connect a domain that is in another Dynadot account to your website builder, you will need to initiate a Change Ownership request to move the domain to the Dynadot account which holds the Website Builder.

• What is a Website Builder?

• How do I add a web hosting plan to a domain in my Dynadot account?

  As of Feb 1st, 2023, Dynadot offers a free single email address as well as free sitebuilder to each domain. During the checkout, you will see those free add-ons.For those prior to Feb 1st to receive your free email address & site builder. Please follow the below steps: Sign in to your Dynadot account. Select "My Domains" from the left-side menu bar and "Manage Domains" in the drop-down. Click on the domain name (the blue hyperlink). If you have not associated your domain to email or site builder, you will be able to do so in this page.

• What are your Website Builder plans and prices?

• How do I publish the website I created in your Website Builder?

  Our Website Builder offers you easy-to-use, intuitive tools to create the website of your dreams! Best of all, the first page is completely free!Once you're ready to show your website off to the world, all you need to do to make it accessible to others is publish it. To publish the website you created with our Website Builder, please follow these steps: Sign in to your Dynadot account. Select "My Websites" from the left-side menu bar. Click on the "Edit Site" button next to the Website Builder you want to publish. Press the "Publish" button on the upper right corner of the page. Each website builder needs to be connected with a domain name in your account.Please note that as you make changes to your website in our Website Builder, you will need hit "publish" to make those changes live on your site. This allows you to make changes without having them immediately show up on your live website.

• Can I use your Website Builder if I do not own a domain?

  As of Feb 1st, 2023 we do require your free or pro website builder to be linked to an active Dynadot domain.Learn how to connect your domain to your Website Builder.
