Can I connect to my Email Hosting account using a CNAME?

Yes, you can connect to your Email Hosting account using a CNAME. To do this, please use the CNAME webhost.dynadot.com

For your email to work, please include the MX record webhost.dynadot.com

To prevent spoofing you may also include a TXT record "v=spf1 mx ip4: ~all"

Please be aware it may take anywhere from 20 minutes to 24 hours for your DNS changes to propagate.

The benefit to using a CNAME vs. an A Record is that if the Email Hosting IP address is ever changed, you will not need to adjust your settings. You can also choose to simply use the "Dynadot Hosting" settings.
