Dynadot. Yesterday my website hit #1 on imgur.com. We got 15,000 sessions in 10 hours and then this DNS disruption happened. We've fallen off of imgur.com, customers all across the globe are signing into IRC and public forums to complain about how they're unable to access our services...
Our apologies for the down time earlier. Our DNS server was being attacked and our engineers were working as quickly as possible to fix the issue. The server was being restarted, a few times, which made our online chat and phone support temporarily unavailable. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
Changes were made to the DNS configuration to mitigate the attack. DNS is working again, though it will take some time for the changes we made to fully take effect.
We appreciate your patience in the matter. Again, we truly apologize for any trouble this has caused.
It would help a lot if you'd make it so we can setup to use both your NS and of other providers. Because, searching for many other providers to use simultaneously is not convinient and your NS are down like 6+ hours every year, which is bad enough for us to be forced to use other providers at least as well.
