I am trying API, but the register didn't go through

I could neither edit the pay method nor cancel the order.
what should I do now?

For the API, a domain gets registered the same time you submit the registration request (if you receive success response). It's just that our order processing system may take up to 30 minutes to complete the API order, and add the domain into your Dynadot account.
