I think you can't compare .tel and .com
It has a complete different purpose. You cannot put a homepage on a .tel domain, it is specially for your contact information.
You want to call or mail Yahoo?
Type in Yahoo.tel and there you see all you need.

Time will tell what the value of .tel domains will be, I think it depends on how much it is gonna be used.

Dont attack this guy. He may ask as much as he want for his domain, but of course no one will ever offer so much for that domain:-)

.tel domains could be great, especially when they becomes more popular, and when will people have on their visit cards their .tel adsress also.

And yes, many company does have their .tel address, alongside .com or .org.

I have highschools.tel, Benelux.tel and many more, which are not worse than about.tel, but i dont dream about an offer in millions:))

Also you can sell space on your .tel domain.....for example.....you have LondonHotels.tel, and you can offer hotels in London to be listed on your .tel domain. If not now, soon they will be very interested to pay you that you list them on your .tel domain. Imagine.....tourist come to London, he is at airport, without notebook, just with his phone in his pocket, he dont want to bother himself with Internet cafee, and he surf to LondonHotels.tel and find accommodation for himself. .tel is designed for mobile phones at first, so that you can search .tel domain from your phone more easily than any other domain.
So, the point is that .tel domains have value, but still no in millions:-)
