Hi,

basically i want to create a subdomain that is:

mail.MYDOMAIN.ORG

but links to a page on another site entirely.

basically it would link to the login page for our google hosted email, does anyone know how to do this?

Assuming you are using Dynadot name servers you would go to Name Servers section for your domain, set up your subdomain and suppply IP of Google mail server

Indeed, but what if you can not just specify the IP

as google hosted email systems are laid out as such:

http://mail.google.com/a/DOMAIN.com

hence no individual IP per link

Our Dynadot DNS service only allows an IP for a subdomain.
