ns1.dynadot.com down

It seems that both ns1.dynadot.com and ns2.dynadot.com are down, this was verified by using the IP lookup tool.

I thought that I broke something until I couldn't ping the name servers.

I can ping ns.dynadot.com, but not ns1 or ns2

This morning we  experienced a DDoS attack on our main Name Servers.  The bulk of the repairs have been completed.  Because of the attack,  we did have to change the IP address associated with our ns1.dynadot.com and ns2.dynadot.com Name Servers.  There will likely be some caching issues resulting from this change.  This will clear itself in time, or you can ask your ISP to refresh your cache for immediate results.   Clearing the cache on your terminal is recommended as well.

Again, we thank you so much for your patience and sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.

The least you could have done is send out an email to all your customers informing them of this?

So they could take the necessary steps to counteract down time?

Not happy.
