Need help with DNS
5/16/2021 15:23
I registered a domain name at dynadot and want to host it local on my Synology nas with Joomla CMS and Synology Mail Server.
Right now I'm using Dynadot DNS with the following DNS records

MX 10 (hidden(.mysyynology.me
A        external ip of NAS

Till so far the mail server I get running, the website (still in development) is also accessible but .... not with www in front of the domain name.

What I want:
Mail server running as it is now
http:///mydomain.com and www.mydomain.com shut point to Joomla on the nas so ... http://external ip/web/joomla/

And of course next step, if above is possible, how to organise a https for this?

Thank you for contacting us and sorry for the delay.
If you can access your domain without www. but not with it you may need to check you DNS settings to see if you have an A record for your www. entry of your subdomain. This A record should set to the same IP as your main domain name, you can edit this in the control panel.
Please read this help page for further assistance.

We can see that you are using Dynadot DNS, you may be able to enable our free SSL certificate with LetsEncrypt. To do so, please go to your domain name and request it.
