Email problem
8/8/2007 02:18
I have been trying to use Google Apps with the domain name I purchased from DynaDot. However I am being asked for an IP address. I was just wondering if this IP address refers to my webhost or that of google apps.

By the way, I have asked a friend to send an email to [email protected] (which is the admin email that I used in my google apps account) and apparently I received the email in my personal gmail account (which I used when I signed up for google apps).

The required IP address for the Dynadot DNS setting is for your website's web server.  If you do not have an IP address for your web server, you can set the IP to 127.0.0.1 which will point a visitor to their own computer.  Unfortunately, this means that anyone who visits your domain (http://yourdomain.com) will receive an error.
