Custom DNS email forwarding workaround

https://www.dynadot.com/community/help/question/CNAME-with-MX this leads to :

"Under the "Subdomain Record (optional)" field, enter "www" as the subdomain, select "CNAME" as the record type and enter the CNAME record given to you." -https://www.dynadot.com/community/help/question/create-CNAME

It just says I was given a cname for the subdomain. I don't know what it is talking about. Please help

Unfortunately, we would not have access to that information. The CNAME would need to be provided by the Host. Please contact them for that information.
