How can I add a subdomain of www to a domain name that will point/resolve to my main website/domain name when people enter www in front of my domain name in their browser's address bar? Is there something else I need to do?

Thank you for contacting Dynadot, kindly check the steps below on how to add a subdomain.

1. login to your Dynadot account
2. from my account dropdown click on my domains then select manage domains.
3. select the domain you want to set the DNS and click on ‘’action’’
4. from the ‘’action dropdown’’ select DNS settings
5.  select ''Dynadot DNS'' from the DNS settings drop-down.
6. go to subdomain records and type ''www'' in the subdomain
7. choose your record type from the dropdown
8. Enter your IP Address or Target Host.
9. Save DNS

please allow some time for the propagation process to be completed, Kindly note that the propagation process takes about 1-2 hours and in rare cases 48 hours.
