(SOLVED) FTP Problem (No access via Filezilla, Corefile, Dreamweaver)
2/9/2012 21:35
The problem is solved. When you start your purchase you need to:

1) Buy a domain name or allready own a domain name
2) Buy the Hosting package

I found it confusing that you enter a webadress for the hosting package but you need to seperatly registrate the name. However it makes probably sense if you have several webpages for the same package.

So if you run into the same problem at the beginning you can check if you actually bought a domainname!

My account is a Basic & Advanced Hosting package

I setup a new FTP Account in the cPANEL
Then tried it on filezilla, corefile and on dreamweaver. The connection always fails!

I tried the Configuration Files according to the instruction and tried it manually several times.
It does not work!

Here is the response of the programms:

Filezilla_3.2.7.
Status: Connecting to 220.250.64.24:21...
Status: Connection established, waiting for welcome message...
Error:  Connection timed out
Error:  Could not connect to server

- It is not a firewall problem!
- I have another site running with another provider and I can access the space perfectly by using filezilla or corefile

Please provide some support!
