Hi Dynadot Team, I'm having problems with the mySQL connections, let me explain:

I have an external mySQL server, and I need connect to that mySQL server but I can't.

Also, I have on my cPanel that accept connections to my databases from any host (%) but I can't connect to my databases on dynadot hosting from anothers servers.

Look like firewall problems.

I need a solution as soon as possible.

Hello, I read the cPanel forum and this don't say how solve it.

In this moment my main problem is connect to a MySQL server that is out of Dynadot Hosting, I'm trying and failed.

I try the same from another hosting and it worked good.

The problem look like a firewall problems on my Dynadot Hosting.

I hope resolve this quickly.

Also I do several tests connecting out of Dynadot Hosting using telnet to 80, 25 and others standards ports and it worked good, but the test to the port 3306 (mysql server port) not worked.

I also encountered a similar problem
php-script (on your hosting) is not connect to an my mysql-server (tcpdump -n -i eth0 port 3306 - is empty)
also I can not connect to mysql server dynadot.сom (mysql --host tangerine.dynadot.cоm -u ****** -p****** - answer: ERROR 2003 (HY000): Can't connect to MySQL server on 'tangerine.dynadot.cоm' (110))

please help!

We can't really troubleshoot the external database issue.  As for the local database, we don't allow remote database connections.
