I would like to suggest that Dynadot alerts its customers (a notice when logged in across all pages, for instance) when...

1) there is scheduled maintenance by the registry for any domain extension which Dynadot registers

and/or

2) there is scheduled maintenance by Dynadot during which time the website may be unavailable or slow.

Ok, I will add it to our feature request list.

Currently you can check if a central registry is up or down by doing a search. If the result is "central registry down for maintenance", then the registry is offline.
