No option to add links for each image in Gallery tool?

I would love to have the ability to edit and add images for each image in our Gallery tool like we can with an Image tool. Would make the process of organizing and adding links to images much less tedious instead of having to add multiple Image tools to add a link for every photo. Thank you!
