.CN & .中国 Domains No Longer Require Documentation for Registration!
Share Article

And .CN & .中国 are also on sale now!

When .CN & .中国 first launched, they were restricted to Chinese registrants. Then, the central registry for .CN & .中国, CNNIC, decided to open up registration to everyone with some documentation requirements. Now, those requirements are no longer necessary to register a .CN or .中国 domain!

Although .CN & .中国 domains no longer require documentation for registration, documentation is still required if you want to set name servers for your domain. In this case, you would need to either provide a photo ID or a business license to be audited by CNNIC. However, if you are looking to invest in .CN or .中国 domains and aren't planning on creating websites for them, you can skip these steps altogether.

Why .CN?

If you don't know, .CN is China's country code domain (ccTLD) and .中国 is its Chinese version. .CN is the fifth most popular ccTLD in the world, with over 3.3 million registrations as of 2012. Since China is the world's most populous country, .CN has been growing every year and it still has huge growth opportunities going forward. In China, using a .CN domain for your website gives you credibility. For international businesses, it's the perfect way to break into the Chinese market and the perfect place to host your Chinese language website. We currently host ours at none other than dynadot.cn!

.CN Sale!

Take advantage of this recent change in requirements by registering your own .CN or .中国 domain! To celebrate this change, we have lowered our .CN price to just $5.99 and our .中国 price to just $29.99! Search for and register your own .CN or .中国 before our sale ends 10/31/14 23:59 CST (China Standard Time).
