- How do I know if I've received any new messages?
Dynadot users can easily send messages to each other right in their accounts. All you need is the receiver's forum name (which is different than their username). To check if you have received any new messages, please follow these steps: 登录您的Dynadot账户。 Look for the envelope icon at the top of the page. If you have any new and/or unread messages, a number will be displayed here. To view your messages, click on the envelope icon and go to "Inbox." We will also notify you by email when you have received a new private message.
- I lost the password for my Dynadot account. Help!
If you have lost or forgotten your Dynadot username or password, please follow these steps: Go to Dynadot.com. Click on the "Login" link at the top of the page. Click on the blue "Forgot your username or password?" link. Enter the email address on file for your account as well as the username (username is optional). Click on the "Look Up" button. NOTE: For this function to work, you must enter the email address associated with your Dynadot account. Our system will not email you if you have entered the incorrect email address.
- How do I sign up for a new Dynadot account?

- How do I turn off Google Authenticator?
Google Authenticator, along with your "birthday" and SMS Authenticator is a great way to add extra security to your account. This is why we recommend keeping it as a part of your account security. But, if you do want to remove Google Authenticator from your Dynadot account, please follow these steps: 登录您的Dynadot账户。 Select "Account Lock" from the "My Info" drop-down menu. Unlock your account. This will require you to enter a token code from your Google Authenticator app (as well as your "birthday" and SMS code if you also have this enabled). If you can't enter your token code, use the "Lost Cellphone" link for help. Go to the "Google Authentication" section. Enter your password for security. Then click "Disable Google Authentication" to turn it off. We recommend relocking your account by clicking "Lock Account Now" at the top of the page when you are done. Note: This will not automatically remove your "Dynadot:username" account from your Google Authenticator app. To remove that, you will need to open the app and click on the pen icon at the top right-hand corner. Then, click on the red minus sign over your "Dynadot:username" account and click "Remove Account" to confirm its removal from the app. Please make sure you have already performed the steps above before removing it from the app.
- How do I know if my domain is locked?
To check the status of your domain lock, please follow these steps: 登录您的Dynadot账户。 从"域名"下拉菜单中选择"域名管理"。 Under the "Settings" column, look for the lock icon. If the lock icon is filled in, the domain is locked. If the lock icon is grayed out, the domain is unlocked. You can also see if a domain is locked by clicking on the domain from the "Manage" page and scrolling down to the "Transfer Lock & Auth Code" section. We recommend keeping your domains locked unless you are in the process of a transfer. This helps ensure their security. If you do leave a domain unlocked, our system will relock it after 14 days. - How do I set a renewal email?
When it comes to renewals, it's good to have backup! That's why we have the option to add a "renewal email" that allows you to receive domain renewal notices to two different emails - your account email and your renewal email. To set up your renewal email, please follow these steps: 登录您的Dynadot账户。 从"个人信息"下拉菜单中选择"账户信息"。 点击蓝色"解锁账户"链接。 验证您的"生日"和其他任意由您授权的2步验证的验证码，然后点击"解锁账户"按钮。 Add or edit your preferred email to the "Renewal Email Address (optional)" section. You will also be required to enter it anytime you unlock your account. Unlocking your account is required for certain account functions such as editing your account info and unlocking your domains. If you are using both Google Authenticator and SMS Authentication, you will need to enter both along with your "birthday" to unlock your account, but at login you will only be required to enter your Google token code after your username and password. - How do I change my Dynadot account email address?
Since we send you emails about renewing your domains, we recommend making sure you use an accessible email address as your account email. We also do not recommend using one attached to a domain within your account because you won't be able to access that email if your domain expires.
