  • How do I change the domain associated with my Email plan?

    It's possible to change the domain associated with your Email plan. This can be done in your Dynadot account by following these steps: Войдите в личный кабинет Dynadot. Выберите «Мой хостинг» в панели меню слева. Click on the domain name that is currently associated with your Email plan. For example, www.yourdomain.com. Прокрутите вниз до раздела «Разместить другой веб-сайт». Enter in the new domain name you want to use with your Email plan. The domain name you enter must be in your same Dynadot account. Please note that this will remove your Email plan from your original domain; however, it won't change its name servers.     Yes, you can connect to your Email account using a CNAME. The benefit to using a CNAME vs. an A Record is that if the Email IP address is ever changed, you won't need to adjust your settings.     NOTE: We no longer support the "hosting" services in our Email plan (formerly called Email Hosting), including FTP.   • How do I set up my Email Hosting email in Microsoft Outlook?

    To set up your Email Hosting email in Microsoft Outlook, please follow these steps: Retrieve your POP3 and SMTP settings Open Outlook and enter your email address. For Incoming, select your preferred type (POP/IMAP). The server hostname should be "webhost.dynadot.com." The port should be 995 for POP and 993 for IMAP. Make sure the 'This server requires encrypted connection (SSL/TLS)' option is selected. Under 'Outgoing mail' enter 'webhost.dynadot.com' as your server and '587' as the port. From the 'Encryption method' drop-down, select the 'STARTTLS' option. Leave the 'Require logon using SPA' option unchecked. Hit the 'Next' button to complete your set-up. Your settings should look similar to what is shown below: A Record Example Note: If you already have Outlook set up with another email address, you will need to select 'Account Settings' from the 'File' menu and then select the 'Add new account' option before proceeding with the steps above.     Our Email Hosting can be used as full hosting for simple, static websites or just for email; it is called Email Hosting, after all! If you want to use our Email Hosting for email only and you use your web host's name servers, ask them to add the following MX and TXT records for you. If you use one of our services, such as DNS, parking, Website Builder, or domain forwarding, you can create the MX and TXT records using the steps below: Войдите в личный кабинет Dynadot. Check the box next to your domain name(s) and click on the “Bulk Action” button. Choose “Email Settings” from the “Bulk Action” list. On the Email Settings page, select the “Dynadot Email Hosting” from the top drop-down menu and click 'save email settings'. You should now see “Dynadot Email Hosting” listed alongside your domain on the “Manage Domains” page in your Dynadot account; however please be aware that it might take some time for your name server changes to propagate. Please note that if your domain is not associated with our Email plan already, you'll want to follow the instructions on how to change the domain associated with your Email plan.

  • How many email addresses can I have for my domain on your Email plan?

    Unlimited! There's no limit on the number of email addresses you can have with your domain Email package. Learn how to set up email with your Email plan.   • My Email plan is connected to my iPhone. How do I delete email from my web space using my iPhone mail client?

    If you want your email to be deleted from your Email plan without logging into your Dynadot account, you can change your settings on the iPhone.   • How do I access my domain email in my Email plan?

    To access your domain email with your Email plan, please follow these steps: Войдите в личный кабинет Dynadot. Select the "My Hosting" tab in the main menu. Click on the "login/edit" link under the "Edit Site" column. A new page should load in a new browser window. You should see your email addresses in the bottom left corner of the screen.
