Con't forward Emails because my domain is set up using a CNAME
I have a site set up with strikingly.com. I purchased a domain from you and have connected it to strikingly's DNS via CNAME. I also purchased a hosting package so that I could set up my Email addresses. The only place I can find reference to Email within my account is the Email Forwarding tab when viewing name server settings for my domain squint.tv . I would like to just create 3 Email addresses. Right now the only way I can find to do that is via forawrding or setting up MX. I'm not familiar with what MX is but I tried to create the Email addresses and forward them to existing ones and I was alerted that when using a CNAME MX and forwarding are not allowed. Can you help me out?

CNAME records are not compatible with MX records. When using a CNAME to point to your host, we recommend creating it on the WWW subdomain and forwarding the main record there: [help=181]
