We're offering .COM domains for just $8.99 – there are just a few small things to know about how this promotion works. Your new domain will show up and work just like normal in your Dynadot account, so read on to see what to expect.
How to Redeem
Enter promo code 899COM at checkout and your .COM registration will be reduced to $8.99 for the first year. There's no limit to how many times you can use the code per account, so feel free to grab multiple domains. Just keep in mind that this promotion has a limited number of registrations available. Once they're gone, the promo code will no longer work.
What to Expect After Registration
Once registered, your domain will appear in your Manage Domains summary just like any other domain in your account. During the first year, your domain is technically registered at our partner registrar, so the one thing you'll notice is that the public WHOIS record will display our partner registrar instead of Dynadot. This is completely normal and simply a result of how the promotion is structured. If you renew, the domain will transfer to Dynadot and function as a standard registration going forward.

Limitations to Keep in Mind
- 60-Day Renewal Lock: Domains registered through this promotion cannot be renewed within the first 60 days. Because renewing triggers a transfer to Dynadot, and newly registered domains carry a standard 60-day transfer lock, you won't be able to renew until that window is up. After 60 days, you're free to renew as normal – standard renewal pricing applies, and your domain will transfer to Dynadot at that point.
- No Afternic Fast Transfer or Sedo MLS (First Year): Domains registered through this promotion won't be eligible for Afternic Fast Transfer or Sedo MLS during the first year. Once the domain is renewed and transferred to Dynadot, it becomes eligible for both tools.
- No Grace Deletions: Domains registered through this promotion are not eligible for grace deletions. Please make sure you want the domain before completing your registration.
