How do I change ownership of a .AM domain?
Updated: 2016/11/02Viewed times: 0
You cannot use our regular change owner process for a .AM domain. Instead, you must visit dot.am/TransferTrade.pdf to download and fill out the .AM transfer & trade form. Then, you need to submit this form to [email protected].
Please note that you will be required to submit the following supporting documentation along with the form:
- Letter from the current domain owner indicating the tasks being authorized
- Individual Owner: Attach a copy of a valid government issued photo ID for validation purposes
- Owner Organization: The letter should be on company stationery (letterhead) and include a company seal (if available)
If you just want to change owners, and are not also moving registrars (transferring), you are doing what the .AM registry calls a "domain trade." Doing a domain trade will reset the domain expiration date to one year from the date of processing of the trade.
This form can also be used to transfer your .AM domain.
