Help with MX records and A records

I have bought this domain and have now been asked the following: Kindly forward the following request to your aaaaa.com domain registrar/host � The A record mail.aaaaa.com should point to x4.xxx.16.250 � The MX record for the domain aaaaa.com should have mail.aaaaa.com as the primary record How do i go about doing that?
