What kind of Privacy is this which puts my NAME c/o Dynadot???
I want privacy so no one on WHOIS can tell who the OWNER is!!!! What's the point if you use my name c/o dynadot!! Or am I misunderstanding what the service is? OK, how to fix -- give me a good answer, please. Should I change the Registrant names to "private" or something like that? regards Information Provider Technologies ============================== Sunland-Tujunga.biz Domain Status: inactive Registrant ID: CP-66190 Registrant Name:Information Provider Technologies c/o Dynadot Privacy Registrant Address1: PO Box 701 Registrant City: San Mateo Registrant State/Province: CA Registrant Postal Code: 94401 Registrant Country: United States Registrant Country Code: US Registrant Phone Number: +1.6505854708 Registrant Email: [This post has been edited by b_godzilla_us on Jan 25, 2012 9:19pm.] [This post has been edited by b_godzilla_us on Jan 25, 2012 9:27pm.]

Thanks DD staff for pointing me to both excellent articles which, had I not been such an idiot, would have consulted first! You guys really do have a 1st Class service here. BarryG

We apologize if our response came off as rude. We really do stand by what is written in the article. We've seen it happen.

Never Mind -- I solved the problem by adding new Registrants named Private -- so good. But if I'd not checked I would have been pissed to later find out Privacy was not there. I think Dynadot should MAKE A NOTICE at the Privacy button to change or delete their Registrant names, dudes!!!! thanks

We do make mention of this. In fact, a full sample is shown here: http://www.dynadot.com/domain/privacy.html Our reasoning for this decision are discussed in our article "Problems with Proxy Registration and Related Services" which can be found here: http://www.dynadot.com/community/article/qa.html?aid=0
