not working
I had submitted Name Server and ip of my webhosting two hours ago and my domain wasn't working and redirects me again to dynadot.com. After that i thought my DNS wouldn't get updated for this domain,so i tried Dynadot Forwarding, but that too not working for my othersites URL.Then, i removed my URL from Dynadot Forwarding.But its not getting removed too now.Help. If your domain gets redirected to dynadot.com, that usually means that our servers received a request for your domain, but since your domain is set to use other name servers, it is no longer on our servers domain list. Your computer or ISP may have our name server info cached for your domain. You can try restarting your computer, or you can try contacting your ISP to see if they can clear their cache. Your computer would now be showing a 'SERVER NOT FOUND' message for requests to your domain because the cache of the previous name server settings has expired and your computer is now using the current name server settings. Apparently, the current name servers aren't returning an IP for your domain. An IP is needed to connect to a server, so with no IP, the server that hosts your domain cannot be found. The IP Lookup "none" results mean the name servers ns1.dkmhosting.com and ns2.dkmhosting.com aren't returning an IP address for your domain. You can try contacting your webhost to verify that those name servers are correct and your domain is on their name servers domain list. The "Searching ns1/2.dkmhosting.com(204.15.10.2xx) for leechw.com/www.leechw.com:" results should have an A record listed for your domain. Currently it is returning all NS records.

Your domain is set to use the following name servers: ns1.dkmhosting.com ns2.dkmhosting.com However, those name servers are not returning an ip address for your domain. So you need to contact Dkmhosting. Ask them to add your domain to their name server. [This post has been edited by dynadot_staff on Nov 12, 2006 11:52.]

i've filled up dynadot stealth and dynadot forward blank by my existing site URL.Is it because of that my nameserver not returning ip? and even stealth and dynadot forwarding both are not working too for my existing URL. And one more thing, do u know any cheap and best webhost,which suits dynadot?

I am not quite sure what you mean by filling up the dynadot stealth and dynadot forward blank, but your domain is set to use the name servers that you have entered. The reason why your website is not showing up is because your name servers are not configured to serve your domain. You need to contact your web host and ask them to configure their name servers to serve your domain. We can't really recommend a web host since our domains work with any web host's name servers provided that everything is configured correctly on both sides.

To set your domain to use our Stealth Forwarding service, please follow the steps in our FAQ: How do I set my domain to stealth forwarding? http://www.dynadot.com/help/question.html?aid=2 Please be aware that it might take some time for your new settings to propagate. You may experience problems that involve the old name server settings being cached. i've had already set my domain 3 weeks bfore and its still not working.I had set my domain on both dynadot stealth and forwarding settings.Can u please tell me how to remove my existing URL atleast from my Dynadot Stealth so i can test my link only on Dynadot Forward.Because i've set the same link on both blanks.I hope u got me.I just want to remove my URL from one of the settings.

The settings for stealth forwarding and regular forwarding cannot be cleared once you have used them at least once. This is done so that if you want to use these settings again, you do not have to re-enter in the old settings. The current name server setting will be the only name server setting in use at the time, and is colored as a blue box. The rest of the name server settings will be in green boxes and will not be active, so they will not affect the current name server setting. As mentioned previously, it might take some time for your new settings to propagate. You may experience problems that involve the old name server settings being cached. If you keep changing the name server settings every day, the old settings may never be fully propagated.
