.MOBILE is an open, unrestricted gTLD. Any individual or legal entity anywhere in the world is eligible to register a .mobile domain name and there are no residency requirements, industry restrictions, or verification gatekeeping. Registration is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Technical requirements for .mobile domain names:

  • May contain letters (a–z), digits (0–9), and hyphens (-)

  • Hyphens cannot appear at the beginning or end of a label

  • Labels cannot exceed 63 characters; total name length cannot exceed 255 characters

  • Mixed scripts are not permitted

  • Internationalized Domain Names (IDN) support is planned per registry policy

Domain names may be registered for a minimum of one year and a maximum of ten years. All registrants must comply with ICANN consensus policies, including the Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP), and are prohibited from using their .MOBILE domain for malware distribution, phishing, spam, or any other abusive or illegal activity.
