• What are premium Donuts domains?

  Premium Donuts domains are considered registry premium domains. This means they are a select list of domain names that are sold at a premium price by the registry. Donuts, the central registry for these domains, charges a premium registration price due to the estimated higher value of the domain name. The premium price will be applied to the registration, renewal, and transfer price of the domain name. Premium domains are often memorable and can be a great investment. Some examples of premium domains are 1, 2, and 3 character domains as well as one word domains. You can see if a domain is a Donuts domain by going to that domain's page and checking the "Registry" section of the "Domain Information" table (click on the domain from our TLD list). Please note that domains purchased during Donuts' Early Access General Availability period have regular renewal and transfer pricing despite having higher registration pricing during that period unless the domain you purchase during the Early Access period is a premium domain. • Do your domain sales ever apply to premium domains?

  No, our domain sales do not apply to premium domains unless the sale is marked as a "premium domain sale" specifically. Unlike our monthly domain sales, premium domain sales are much more rare. You can find our monthly sale information in the "Sales & Coupons" section of our articles. It is also sent out via our monthly newsletter on or around the first of each month. To find more exact information about a domain sale, such as when it ends, whether it applies to only the 1st year, whether it applies to only registrations, and whether it's a flat rate for all pricing levels, you can visit the TLD's page and scroll down to the "Sale Information" section.

• What is the renewal fee for a premium domain from Minds + Machines?

  If you are purchasing a registry premium domain that is associated with the Minds + Machines central registry, the renewal price will be the same as the registration price. Minds + Machines domains include*: .BEER .CASA .COOKING .COUNTRY .FASHION .FISHING .FIT .GARDEN .HORSE .RODEO .SURF .VODKA .WEDDING .WORK .YOGA *NOTE: This list may not be complete as we are often launching new TLDs. • What is a premium .TV domain name?

  A Premium .TV domain is a .TV domain that is designated as "premium" by the Central Registry, Verisign. These domains were reserved by Verisign, so any registration attempts for these domains were originally blocked. Verisign has since opened up these valuable domains for registration, but at a higher initial registration price than normal .TV domains. Initial registration prices vary depending on the premium .TV domain name and in some cases also apply to renewals and transfers. Renewals The renewal price for many premium .TV domains will be the same as any normal .TV domain. However, the renewal fee for certain premium .TV domains will be higher. The Central Registry decides which. If a domain is registered for multiple years in the initial registration, the additional years will cost the same as the first year premium price. Transfers Premium .TV domains can be transferred. If you want to transfer away from Dynadot, check the .TV transfer price with the receiving registrar. If you are transferring in to Dynadot, you will see the cost reflected in your shopping cart. Grace Deletions The grace period for all premium .TV domain names will be the same as regular .TV domains. Please note that premium prices are subject to change per the Registry.
