How is word the GOLD have Trademark issues?  

Anyone advice,?   or additional links I can read

One approach may be to use the USPTO's Trademark Electronic Search System (TESS) to do a 'Basic Word Mark' search on the word "gold"...

Looking at all the listings, focusing on the 'Good and Services' sections.

An example from TESS in which the use of the word "gold" is associated with the following:

Goods and Services: IC B . US B . G & S: Design, construction and operation of buildings or real estate projects that promote occupant health and wellness

Just like apple is a trademark, is a bunch of bullcrap if you ask me, because they are dictionary words, what is next ? I can't buy apples at the grocery store because they have a trademark on it ? Stupid laws...
