How to Prevent Your Domains From Expiring

Our system automatically sends notices 60, 30, 10, and 3 days prior to the expiration date of your domains. If the email on file is inactive, those courtesy reminders will return to us as undeliverable and you may not realize your domain's expiration date is near.

The email notification isn't the only way to prevent your domains from expiring. You also have the option to set up auto-renewal. How does that benefit you? Not only is it simple to enable this feature, it also gives you a break. You wouldn't have to worry about signing into your account every year to submit the renewal because our system will do that for you. All you need is enough account balance available or an active credit card linked to your account.

If you really love your domain and it's significant to your life (and many times your business), try renewing it for multiple years (or if you're still in the registration process, you can also register it for multiple years). The maximum amount of time you can register or renew a domain is 10 years, but that allows you plenty of time to not worry about losing it.
