To transfer a .ro domain, the authorization code must be generated directly from the RoTLD registry.

Steps to obtain the auth code:

1. Log in to the RoTLD Online Administration: https://rotld.ro/domadmin/ (See image below)
2. Navigate to the "Authorization Key" area and select the option to get the key for transferring to another registrar.
3. Check your email
   • RoTLD will automatically send the authorization code to the registrant email address on file
4. Submit the auth code to the new registrar
   • Provide the code to the registrar you are transferring your domain to, and follow their transfer instructions
