  • What is the difference between a variant and an option in our Website Builder store manager?

    Our Website Builder store manager allows you to add multiple variants and options for your products. Remember you must have a Pro Plan in order to gain access to our store manager feature.An option is something like the color and size of the product. A variant is the same product with a different option. For example, a t-shirt can be both red and blue. That would mean there are 2 variants of the product. You can only add a variant if you add an option first.How do I add different options and variants of the same product?

  • How do I add products to my Website Builder Store Manager?

    Our Website Builder store manager makes it easy to add and manage products from within our editor. There are easy two ways to add products:Add products directly to your product page: Sign in to your Dynadot account. Select "My Websites" from the left-side menu bar. Click on the "Edit Site" button next to the website builder you want to use. Click on the "Website Builder" option, followed by the "Pages" option on the left-hand tool bar. Select "Product" as the page type and click "Save" at the top. You will now have a product page which is set up to show the products in your inventory. From your product page, click on "click to add product" to add your products. Here you can enter your product's name, a description, and images. Under the "Product Options" section, you can click to set a SKU (our system will auto generate one, but it can be edited), price, stock, weight, and dimensions. You can also use the toggle to keep your product hidden until you're ready for it to show on your products page. Use the "Add Options" button to add product options such as size or color. Under "Option Name", enter the type of option you would like to add (for example, "Size" or "Color"). In the "Option Values" box you can enter multiple product variants by typing your desired name and then clicking the enter/return key on your keyboard after each variant. You can also remove a variant by hovering over it and clicking the "X" button. Under the "Visibility" section, you can select where you want your product to show on your website. Since you added the product from a certain page, this will be the default, but you can change it using the drop down menu. (Only product pages can be used.) You can customize your product's URL under, "Product URL". Please note that this should be set and then not changed or links to your product pages will break. The page's URL was set when the page was created and is also recommended not to be changed. Click the "Save" button on the top left on the screen to finalize your changes. Add products within the store manager: Sign in to your Dynadot account. Select "My Websites" from the left-side menu bar. Click on the "Edit Site" button next to the website builder you want to use. Click on the "Store" option on the left-hand tool bar. Select the "Inventory" tab and click "Add Product". The add product screen will be the same as the one you see in the instructions above. Follow instructions 8-15 above to add your product's details. Don't forget to click the "Save" button when you're done. How do I remove a product from my inventory?     Our Website Builder store manager makes it easy to manage the products within your online store. To remove products from your inventory, follow these steps: Sign in to your Dynadot account. Select "My Websites" from the left-side menu bar. Click on the "Edit Site" button next to the website builder you want to use. Click on the "Store" option on the left-hand tool bar. Select the "Inventory" tab and find the product you want to remove. Check the box next to the product(s) you want to delete, you will see a "delete" icon above the list of products. Click on it to delete the selected product(s). You can also delete individual products after clicking on the three vertical dots shown to the right of the product. Your product is now removed. You won't see the product in the inventory tab anymore. How do I add products to my website builder store manager?

  • Is there a limit to the number of products I can sell using your Website Builder store manager?

    No, there is no limit to the number of products you can sell with our Website Builder's store manager. That being said, adding too many products may make your product page slow, especially if you have a lot of images for each product. Luckily, the Website Builder's Pro plan comes with unlimited pages, so if this is an issue you can spread out your products between multiple pages.Please note that access to our store manager is only available through our Website Builder Pro plan.   • How do I choose what page a product will show on from within your Website Builder store manager?

    Since our Website Builder store manager is available with our Pro plan, you have access to umlimited pages on which to feature your products. To select which page to show each product, please follow these steps: Sign in to your Dynadot account. Select "My Websites" from the left-side menu bar. Click on the "Edit Site" button next to the website builder you want to use. Click on the "Store" option on the left-hand tool bar.cd Click on the product that you want to place. Once you are inside your product editor, scroll all the way to the bottom of the page and you will see a "Visibility" section. Here, you will see two areas you can change. The "Collections Page" and "Product URL". The "Collections Page" is where you can choose which product page you want this product to be on. (If you only have one product page, it will just have the name of your product page and none as options. If it is set to none, you will not be able to see the product on your website.) Each product is also given its own product page under the "Collections Page" it is listed on. "Product URL" is where you can set a custom URL for your product. Once you have made your changes, be sure to click "Save" at the top of the page. Please note that you can only show products on a "product" page.How do I add products to my inventory?

    No, there is no limit to the number of images you can add to your products with our Website Builder's e-commerce store manager. Although, there is no limit, we do recommend paying attention to the file size of the images you upload. The larger the file size, the slower the image - and the product page - will load for your customers.Please note that our e-commerce store manager is only included with our Website Builder Pro plan.     Our Website Builder store manager makes it easy to sell different forms of the same product. For example, you can add different sizes and colors for a t-shirt. You can add this to your product from within our store manager in our variants section.To add options and variants to your product: Sign in to your Dynadot account. Select "My Websites" from the left-side menu bar. Click on the "Edit Site" button next to the website builder you want to use. Click on the "Store" option on the left-hand tool bar. Select the "Inventory" tab and select the product you want to add a variant to or click on "Add Product" to add a new product. Before you can add a variant of your product, you must first add an option. Under the "Product Options" section, click the "Add Option" button. In this example, you would need to enter "Color" as the "Option Name". In the "Option Values" box you can enter multiple product variants by typing your desired variant name and then clicking the enter/return key on your keyboard after each variant. For example, to add the variants "Blue" and "Red" you would need to type "Blue" and click enter/return, and then type "Red" followed by the enter/return key. You can remove a variant by hovering over it and clicking the "X" button. Once you click save, you will be returned to the "Product Options" page. To view your variants, click the "Edit All Variants" button. The variants you added will be listed along with each variant's SKU, Price, Stock, Weight, Dimensions, and whether it's hidden or visible. You can edit this information directly from this page. To add an image for a specific variant, click the 'plus' icon shown to the left of the variant. To add or remove variants, click on the "Edit Options" button at the top of the page. Click the "Save" button on the top right on the screen to finalize your changes. To view your options on the product page: From within your Website Builder editor, go to your product page. Hover over your product and click "Edit Product".   • Is there a way to keep track of my inventory within your Website Builder's e-commerce store manager?

    Yes, our Website Builder e-commerce store manager makes it easy to keep track of inventory. When you add products to your inventory, you can put in how many you have in stock. Then, when someone places an order, our system will automatically adjust the number in stock based on the number ordered.For example, let's say you have 5 mugs in stock. If a customer orders 2, your inventory will automatically change to 3. This way, you won't have to worry about manually changing the number of items you have in stock!When an order is cancelled, you will also have the option to replace the item in your inventory and our system will update accordingly.
