Account Credit

  • How do I know if I have account credit?

    To view your account credit, please follow these steps: Sign in to your Dynadot account. Your "Summary" page will show your current balance next to the $ icon at the top. Choosing account credit as your payment method is the fastest way to register domains. Want to add account credit to your Dynadot account? Prepay now!

  • How do I withdraw my sales balance?

    Dynadot offers a wide variety of Aftermarket products, one, in particular, is our "domain sale". Domain sale proceeds that were initiated October 18, 2023 or later are deposited into your "Sales Balance" by default. This balance can be cashed out or converted to a Dynadot account balance for a 2% bonus credit. The account balance can be used as payment for any future orders placed at Dynadot. To withdraw your Dynadot sales balance, please follow these steps: Sign in to your Dynadot account. On the summary page you will see "Sales Balance" (please note, the sales balance will only be visible if you have sale proceeds). Select "Payout" from the right-hand side. If your account is locked, you will be prompted to unlock your account before proceeding. Unlocking your account will require you to enter your "Security PIN" (as well as a Token Code if you have set up Google Authenticator and/or an SMS Code if you have SMS set up). After entering the necessary information to unlock your account, click the "Unlock Account" button. This will take you back to the Summary page where you select "payouts" again. There will be two options for you to select from. Either "Dynadot Credit" which instantly adds to your balance with a 2% bonus, or "Cash Out". Once you select "Cash Out", there will be a drop-down menu with payment methods listed. If the sale balance is USD, PayPal, Payoneer or Check (min. $100.00), bank wire (min. $2000); if it's CNY, Alipay (min.¥700). Select your method, depending on the type of payment method you select, you may be prompted to submit additional information. (e.g. PayPal requires an email address and confirmation check box). Click on the "Request Payout" button to submit your request. Please Note: The account balance and sales balance are not the same. Your sales balance is separated from your account balance (e.g. Prepay). Your sales balance will only be visible if you qualify. Processing time for Sales balance is between 5-7 days. When you convert your Sales balance to your Dynadot account balance, you will receive a bonus of 2%. Unfortunately, it is not possible to convert your Dynadot account balance back to the sales balance. PayPal may deduct extra fees from your payout amount. Unfortunately, this is outside of our control and will be deducted from the payout amount.

  • What is account credit and what can it be used for?

    Any Dynadot customer can prepay money into their account. This then becomes what we call account credit. Account credit can be used towards any purchase at Dynadot.There are a few reasons why you may want to prepay some account credit into your Dynadot account: Faster processing of orders because it eliminates potential delay from other payment method processing. To reach the required spending of $5 to bid in our Expired Auctions, purchase a domain for sale in our Domain Marketplace, or place a drop catch request in our Domain Backorders. To instantly qualify for our Bulk domain pricing ($500 spending required in the last 365 days). To instanly qualify for our Super bulk domain pricing ($5000 spending required in the last 365 days).   • How do I add account credit to my Dynadot account?

    Account credit can be paid into your Dynadot account to be used for future orders with us. Using account credit has several benefits including faster order processing and, in some cases, discounted pricing. Plus, it never expires!To add account credit to your account, you need to submit a prepay order: Go to the Account Prepay page. Choose the currency you'd like to use for your prepayment by using the drop-down menu located at the bottom left corner of the page. Please note that your default currency must match the currency of your account credit to be able to use it for an order. Enter the amount of money you'd like to prepay into your account. The minimum prepay amount is $5 USD. Click on the "Credit Account" button. The item will be added to your shopping cart at the top right corner of the page. To checkout, click on the shopping cart and then click the "Checkout" button. Our system will take you through the check out process to submit your order. You will receive an "Order Finished" email from us when your order has finished processing. Once it has finished processing, you should see your Account Credit updated. Please note that any money you add to your account will be non-refundable. This is clearly stated in our Service Agreement, Part 1, Section 1.
