    • I forgot my .TEL password, how do I reset it?

    • How do I set up email for my .TEL domains?

      You can now create email addresses for your .TEL domain by adding MX records to your Telhost account. To set up email for your .TEL domains, please follow these steps: Log into your Telhost account. Click on the "Settings" link at the top of the page. When the new box appears, click on the "Setup .tel mail" link. You can enter up to 7 MX records and distances (priority) in the boxes shown here. Press the "Save" button to save your changes. Once your entries have propagated, you should be able to receive email for your .TEL domain.

    • Why isn't my .TEL domain online?

      .TEL is a special domain. It's use is restricted by Telnic, .TEL's central registry. Registrants are not allowed to build their own website; they are only allowed to create a contact info website and are unable to set their own name servers. Once you register your .TEL domain, you will need to set up a Telhost account for your domain to resolve. This is the most likely reason your .TEL domain is not online.

    • How do I set up my .TEL domain?

      .TEL domains are unique because you don't have to and can't build your own website. Instead, you simply need to set up your .TEL domain by creating a Telhost account. Then, you can easily post your contact information on your .TEL website! To create a Telhost account, please follow these steps: Sign in to your Dynadot account. Select "TLD Settings" from the "Domains" drop-down menu. Click on the "TEL Domain Settings" link located on the right side of the page. Enter in a username, password, and email address for your Telhost account. Now you can sign into your Telhost Account Area at https://telhost.dynadot.com with the username and password you created. For your domain to appear online, you need to create at least one contact in the Telhost Account Area for your domain. After that is done, it can take 6-12 hours for the domain to start working. You can also log into your Telhost Acccount Area by clicking your .TEL domain (it will appear as a link) on the "Manage Domain Names" page. Then, scroll down to the "Telhost Account" box that will contain a link to your Telhost account, your username, and a link to reset your password. Please note that a Telhost account is required, otherwise your .TEL domain will not be added to the .TEL zone file and will not resolve.

    • How do I opt-out of the Whois for .TEL domains?

      Although the .TEL domain does not allow domain privacy, the .TEL central registry does allow individuals or "natural persons" to opt-out of personal information being published in the Whois. To opt-out, please follow these steps: Sign in to your Dynadot account. Select "TLD Settings" from the "Domains" drop-down menu. Click on the "TEL Domain Settings" link located on the right side of the page. Under the "TEL Whois Type" section, select your Whois type from the drop-down menu. Click on the "Set Whois Type" button to save your changes. If the "natural person, opt-out" choice is selected, only the contact record name field will be shown in the Whois. You can also specify that you are "legal person" such as a corporation or business by following the steps above.

    • Why can I only have a contact info website on my .TEL domain?

      The .TEL domain was created to provide a single contact point for online communication. The .TEL's central registry, Telnic, has used .TEL to create the world's only real-time global directory. Since .TEL is supposed to be used as your "only business card," its usage has been restricted. You cannot develop a typical website on your .TEL domain. Instead, you need to set up your .TEL domain through Telhost, which is provided by Telnic.
