- Do you offer revenue parking?
No, Dynadot does not offer revenue parking. Unfortunately, we had issues with too many fraudulent clicks in the past, so we no longer offer this service. There are other third party services available that offer revenue parking. You simply need to point your domain to that service when you set your name servers. Dynadot does offer a domain parking service that is free with every domain.

- What is a domain name?
Why, it's what we sell, of course! A domain name is essentially a name for an IP address of a website. Since IP addresses consist of a combination of numbers, domain names are a way for people to remember where a website can be found without having to memorize combinations of numbers and periods. We offer a variety of top-level domains (TLDs), such as the popular .COM. We support over 400 different TLDs including several country code TLDs (ccTLDs). - How do I change ownership of a .AM domain?
You cannot use our regular change owner process for a .AM domain. Instead, you must visit dot.am/TransferTrade.pdf to download and fill out the .AM transfer & trade form. Then, you need to submit this form to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please note that you will be required to submit the following supporting documentation along with the form: Letter from the current domain owner indicating the tasks being authorized Individual Owner: Attach a copy of a valid government issued photo ID for validation purposes Owner Organization: The letter should be on company stationery (letterhead) and include a company seal (if available) If you just want to change owners, and are not also moving registrars (transferring), you are doing what the .AM registry calls a "domain trade." Doing a domain trade will reset the domain expiration date to one year from the date of processing of the trade. This form can also be used to transfer your .AM domain.

- My domain expired! Is there a Renewal Grace Period?
Most likely, the answer is yes. A "Renewal Grace Period" is the time during which a domain owner can renew an expired domain. Most domain extensions offer a renewal grace period of up to 40 days. For example, this is the life-cycle of .COM, which has a 40-day renewal grace period: 2015/05/01 - Your domain is registered 2016/05/01 - Your domain expires 2016/05/01 - 2016/05/31 Renewal Grace Period (renewals are regular renewal price) 2016/05/31 - 2016/06/10 Renewal Grace Period (renewals include a $10 late renewal fee + regular renewal price) 2016/06/10 - 2016/07/10 Redemption Period To see the renewal grace period of each of our domain extensions, visit our TLD page and look at the "Renew (Grace Period/days)" column. If you do not renew during the grace period, the domain will be deleted and would no longer be controlled by Dynadot. This is known as the "Redemption Period," which is typically 30 days. If you wish to re-claim the domain, the process will be more expensive and time-consuming, as Dynadot will be required to submit paperwork and payment to the central registry. Our restore prices are listed on our individual TLD pages under the "Domain Information" section. Please note that most of this money goes straight to the central registry. Domains in redemption can only be restored by the current registrant and only with the listed registrar. About 5 days after the redemption period ends, the domain is dropped from the central registry and becomes available to the general public. Domains are sold on a first come, first serve basis. High-value domains will go quickly. Two important exceptions: Some domain extensions do not offer renewal and/or redemption periods or offer them for different lengths of time. Please use the above links to check on your specific extension. Some expired domains will be sold at auction in the Expired Auctions in our Marketplace. If this is the case with your domain, there will be no redemption period; though you will still have your full renewal grace period to renew before the domain is lost entirely. The best way to preserve your domain name is to set up auto-renew or renew early. Auto-renew will automatically renew your domain (as long as your payment method goes through) and with early renewals, no time is lost. Using either method can save a lot of future headaches. Keeping your contact information up-to-date is also important as Dynadot will send all expiration notice emails to the address on file. You can also set up a separate renewal email. For more information regarding the full domain expiration process, click here.
- What does it mean to park a domain?
Parking a domain (otherwise known as domain parking) means you have your domain name point to a placeholder web page which tells visitors that this domain has already been taken. Most people use this feature to provide a temporary page for visitors to see while they decide what to do with their domain. Dynadot provides this service free of charge when you register or transfer a domain name to us.
