Hi,

I bought a domain for a friend today, and I am going to transfer the ownership to him. However, Is there a way to remove my credit Card info and my personal detials from the domain... Also, can I stop it from auto-renewing (if it does)?

It sounds like you are planning to give your Dynadot account to your friend.  Please understand that we discourage our customers from giving their accounts to the new owner of a domain because even if you delete your personal and payment info from the account, a tech-savvy user may still be able to derive your personal information from it.

We suggest that you have your friend create their own free Dynadot account (http://www.dynadot.com/create_account.html) and initiate a Change Ownership request.  Steps on how to initiate a Change Ownership request can be found in our FAQ:

Yes, I meant transfer ownership of the domain, not my account, as I plan to buy more domains for myself.
