setting up custom domain for medium.com
3/4/2017 07:33
Hello,
I'm trying to setup a custom domain for my companies blog and I'm running into difficulty setting a crecord and an arecord on my domain. I get the following error when I try to do this

"Cannot set A Record and Forwarding together."

http://imgur.com/a/UPlLR

I am following the instructions I found in this post:

https://www.dynadot.com/community/help/question/create-CNAME

Here are the original instructions I got from medium:

"CNAME Domain (may also be called “Host” or “Name”): f06d702fdf2bd7aec115371dd7cd4819.launchdrawer.com

If adding the entire string with the domain name doesn’t work, try just adding the alphanumeric string (token) before your domain. (If using a subdomain, try as "token.subdomain", and leave off the domain.) For example, Namecheap, Google domains, and Gandi all follow this token-only or token.subdomain pattern.

CNAME Target (may also be marked “Points to” or “Value”): 259967c5e8e5ae807186d3ebc68d4585d1e8115d.comodoca.com

Please add that CNAME record above and all the following twelve A record values to your domain or subdomain.

A Records:

52.0.16.118
52.1.119.170
52.1.147.205
52.1.173.203
52.4.145.119
52.4.175.111
52.4.225.124
52.4.240.221
52.4.38.70
52.5.181.79
52.6.3.192
52.6.46.142
"

Any help would be most appreciated. Thanks in advance.

In this case, your A records would take the place of the forward, though you may want to add in an A record for the www subdomain. In checking your acocunt, it looks like you've added the records mentioned above already.
