SSL_ERROR_BAD_CERT_DOMAIN
12/8/2008 02:37
Hello Support Helpers,

Tried to check my email vua web or access domain and I got this message:

SSL_ERROR_BAD_CERT_DOMAIN

And that's after following the instructions given by Dynadot. The problem seems to be at Dynadot's end issuing bad certificate or authentication. Help please!!!

That message is normal.

Your web browser is checking to see if the SSL certificate matches your domain name.  An error message results since the web mail link uses Dynadot's certificate instead of one specifically for your website.

Once you accept the certificate, you should be able to retrieve your email normally.

Same issue.  They third party their SSL and each party kicks the can to the other.  You're better of with self-signing certificates and doing it every 3 months.
