In the last 50 years, the President of the United States has recognized National Small Business Week in the month of May. National Business Week recognizes the critical contributions of America’s entrepreneurs and small business owners. Did you know that more than half of Americans either own or work for a small business? These entrepreneurs create about two out of every three new jobs in the United States each year!

During National Small Business Week, the U.S. Small Business Administration highlights the impact and importance of small business owners from all over the country. These small business owners contribute to our economy and create jobs for Americans.
There are many ways to celebrate this week! Below are three ways you can contribute to Small Business Week.

SHARE YOUR SMALL BIZ

There are many ways to celebrate in small ways this week! The first thing is to share your business! If you have a small biz, make sure to share your business and illustrate what makes you different from big corporate companies. You can share inspirations to other small businesses or someone who wants to create a small business.
