Last Week's Answers

Easy: Briefly explain a domain's lifecycle.
Reward: 10% Off an Order (Max $50)

Answer: Here is an example of a domain's lifecycle using 7 steps from registration to deletion. For simplicity, we will say that our domain name was registered on January 1, 2015. 1) January 1, 2015: The domain is registered. 2) March 1, 2015: After 60 days the domain can now be transferred to another registrar. 3) November 1, 2015, most registrars start sending renewal notices around this time. 4) January 1, 2016, the domain has expired; most registrars will HOLD the domain, which means your website and email will no longer work. 5) February 9, 2016, after 40 days most registrars delete the domain. To get the domain back, you must restore it. 6) March 11, 2016, after 30 days, the domain can no longer be restored. 7) March 16, 2015, after 5 days, the domain is dropped from the central registry and can now be registered by anyone. Hard: Grading website by search engines is a complex method. Only basic methodology are shared with the people. Its like the term paper graded by a professor. Some of the basic points of which are: Introduction: Most of the times it is the home page of the website which gives the basic the introduction to the site visitor what is the site all about. Body: Then there are other inside pages which give a detailed introduction to site's products, services, etc. Conclusion: Then there are Call to Action things like Add to Cart or Buy Now or Get a quote or contact informations. Citations: Then there are links to the pages of other website's pages which are called as backlinks and they are used to provide further quality and relevant information to the site visitor. The Better your backlinks are the better your rankings. Publish: Now is the to time Show Off i.e. to share your content with the world through social media platforms, forums, etc. All the above basic points will be added up by the search engines to determine the rankings of a website.
