Dynadot Offers New & Improved Domain Privacy!
Happy New Year, everyone! We hope you've been having a great year so far. As many of you know from our recent newsletter announcement, we decided to upgraded our domain privacy service, so that you can choose to hide your name in addition to hiding your address, phone number, email, and so on. We are excited to say that this new privacy service is now available!
For those of you who are already a part of our awesome group of customers, you will need to manually update your privacy service from "partial" to "full" to hide your name. Luckily, we created an easy-to-follow help file that will tell you how to hide your name.
For domains purchased with privacy from now on, our "full" domain privacy (which hides everything, including your name) will be automatically applied. If you want your name to show in the Whois, you simply have to adjust it back to "partial" using the same instructions above.
I know many of you have a lot of domains that you may want to update to our new "full" domain privacy. Don't worry! You can use the check box at the top of your domain list to select all of your domains. Then, hover over the "Privacy" button and select "Set Privacy" to change all of them to the full setting.
Want to add privacy to your domain? You can easily add it to a domain already in your account by following these add privacy instructions. Our domain privacy now costs $3 per year for retail, $2 per year for bulk customers, and is free for our super bulk customers.
Please note that not all domain extensions support privacy. You can see a full list of domain extensions and see which ones support privacy on our TLD page. Keep in mind that if you choose to either add or update your domain privacy, it will take time for the Whois to update.
