Dynadot Adopts a Family for the Holidays
The holidays are truly a magical time of the year. Here in the US, we start off the holidays with Thanksgiving, which is a great time to remember to be thankful for everything we have. Here at Dynadot, we are thankful for our awesome Dynateam, as you may have seen in our Thanksgiving Memes post, and because we have so much to be thankful for, we wanted to give back to a family in need this holiday season.
Dynadot is proud to be involved with a local Adopt-a-Family program. The holidays can be especially hard on low-income families who can't afford to cover their basic needs, let alone provide the things their children want. The Adopt-a-Family program allows individuals or groups to "adopt" a family to help provide them with the things they need and want during the holidays. Our adopted family consisted of a single father with four children ranging in age from 6-12. The family needed items such as warm blankets, jackets, socks, shoes, and more, but the children also wanted things such as books, dolls, and CDs.
Team Dynadot really enjoyed shopping for our family. We tried to provide as many things on their list as possible and ended up being able to provide each person with several needs and at least one want on their list. We also provided a grocery store gift card, so the family will be able to enjoy some wonderful holiday meals together. Here are the results of our shopping trip for our family:
The holidays are a great time to give back to your local community. There are many ways to do so including Adopt-a-Family programs, Toys for Tots, local food drives, and more. To find out how you can give back, simply do a Google search to see how you can get involved in your local area. If you're in the US, you can also check out the website charities.org. And if you're local to the San Francisco Bay Area feel free to get involved with our local Adopt-a-Family program too!
