Happy Vodka Day! There are so many ways to celebrate this wonderful vodka holiday - even if you don't want to drink it! Vodka has been known to be useful around the house: use it to remove bandages more easily, clean your bathroom until it sparkles, keep your mouth feeling fresh and more! You can also celebrate by purchasing a vodka-themed premium domain, after all, is one of the most expensive domain names of all time, having been sold for $3,000,000 in 2009. Or...well, we suppose you could just use vodka the way it was intended - and drink it! Here are some fun vodka recipes from, starting with some punch that's perfect for your Halloween party!

Swample Punch


32 fluid ounces blue-colored sports drink (such as Gatorade®)

3 cups sparkling water (such as Perrier®)

1/2 (750 milliliter) bottle rose wine

12 fluid ounces peach-flavored fruit drink (such as Snapple®)

1 (8.3 ounce) can citrus-flavored energy drink (such as Red Bull™)

1 (2.17 ounce) package fruit-flavored candies (such as Skittles®)

2 cups vodka


Mix blue sports drink, sparkling water, wine, peach-flavored drink, energy drink, fruit candies, and vodka together in a punch bowl.

Blurry-Eyed Kicker


1/4 fluid ounce melon liqueur

1/4 fluid ounce Southern Comfort liqueur

1/4 fluid ounce banana liqueur

1/4 fluid ounce vodka

3/4 fluid ounce orange juice

1/2 ounce whiskey sour mix

2 cups ice

1. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Pour in the melon liqueur, Southern Comfort, Banana liqueur, vodka, orange juice, and sour mix.

2. Shake vigorously for 1 to 2 minutes. Strain in to a highball glass and serve.

Berry Shooters


1 (3 ounce) package of tropical fruit-flavored gelatin mix

1 cup hot water

1 cup triple berry vodka


In a medium bowl combine the gelatin mix and boiling water. Stir until gelatin dissolves. Pour in the vodka and stir. Pour into small paper cups and chill in the refrigerate until set.

Favorite martini: Peach Puff Martini Glass Type: Cocktail Glass Ingredients: 2 oz Smirnoff Raspberry Twist vodka, 2 oz DeKuyper Sour Peach Pucker schnapps, 1 dash lemon-lime soda, 1 maraschino cherry Instructions: Mix the DeKuyper Sour Peach Liqueur and Smirnoff Raspberry Twist vodka, as well as a dash of lemon-lime soda (such as Sprite or Sierra Mist) in a martini cocktail shaker. Strain into a cocktail glass and drop in a maraschino cherry. Use a dash of maraschino cherry syrup in recipe if desired. Serve. Favorite shot: Blue Meanie: 1 oz Blue Curacao liqueur 1 oz vodka 1 oz sweet and sour mix All-time favorite drink: redbull + vodka :)
