Along with Auto-Payment for auctions, we have added a few more new features:
An "Auctions I'm Bidding on" page - Now you can check the status of the auctions you're bidding on. The page lets you know if you're the high bidder or if you got outbid. You can view the page in the "Marketplace" tab of your Account Area.
Outbid emails - If you get outbid in an Expired Domain Auction, we will notify you via email.
Active Auction downloads - You can download a csv file of the current active Expired Domain Auctions. The link is on the marketplace about page on the lower right side.
Listings search by seller - We have also added the search by seller option in the blue search box in the marketplace section. |

We have recently added a new way for users to buy domains from other Dynadot customers in the Marketplace. If a domain is on sale for a specific price, you can add the domain to your shopping cart and purchase it. More information about the buying process is posted below.
What is the "Domain Sale" process?
Our marketplace has many domains listed for sale. Our "Domain Sale" process is structured to help potential buyers purchase the domain they want immediately without the hassle of contacting the seller directly. This benefits the seller too since it helps them sell more domains with less work. Here's how it works:
1. A seller lists a domain for sale at a specific price on our marketplace.
2. An interested buyer sees this domain for sale and decides to buy it. He adds the domain to his shopping cart, checkouts his order, and submits payment.
3. Our system automatically moves the domain to the buyer's Dynadot account so they can use the domain immediately. The domain will stay on a "buy" lock for 60 days. This prevents the buyer from moving the domain to another Dynadot account or transferring the domain to another domain registrar.
4. The sale proceeds are credited to the seller's Dynadot account (minus a Marketplace Listing Fee) after the processing period ends.
Notes:
- The processing period will take at least 5 days.
- The Marketplace Listing Fee is 5% of the listing price. There is no minimum listing fee at this time.
- The sale proceeds are credited as Dynadot account credit.
- We do not have a payout option yet, however, it is being worked on. We will let you know when this payout option has been added to our system. From Help Section: Marketplace > What is the "Domain Sale" process? |
