To register your own Name Servers, please follow these steps:
How do I register my own name servers?
To create your own name servers for a domain registered by Dynadot, follow these steps:
- Log into your Dynadot account.
- Click on the "Domains" tab.
- Click on the "Name Servers" subsection link.
- Look for the phrase, "Register a domain name server". Click on this link.
- Enter the host name (ns1.mydomain.com, for example) in the text box labeled "Host Name".
- Enter the IP address for the name server in the text box labeled "IP Address".
- Click the "Submit" button.
You can submit either an IPv4 or IPv6 IP address. The WS registry doesn't support IPv6 addresses. You can also set multiple IP addresses. Also, please remember to configure your name servers with the corresponding 'A' records. From Help Section: Account Management > Domain Settings > How do I register my own name servers? |
