Sounds like your cPanel passwords are out of sync. Please reset inside cPanel while making sure the 'Allow MySQL Password Change' box is checked. Sometimes this will need to be done more than once before a full sync is achieved. I've found that there is a higher success rate when letting cPanel generate the password.
How do I reset my password for my cPanel account?
To reset the password for your Advanced Web Hosting cPanel account, follow these steps:
- Log into your Dynadot account.
- Look for the "Dynadot Hosting" box at the bottom of the page.
- Click the "[cPanel login]" link in the "Edit Site" column. A new web browser window should open with a popup window.
- Enter your cPanel username into the "Password Reset" section on the page and click on the "Reset" button. Please note that the cPanel username may not be the same as your Dynadot username.

| It is in the same box where you would enter your old and new passwords. It should be checked by default, but you'll want to be sure. |
