I am trying to have multiple email addresses (approx 5). and need them to work with gmail browser. Does that mean I need to upgrade to advanced hosting? Also. I just bought basic a couple of days ago, can that money be credited towards advanced? I cannot get through to cust service and really need these emails working today.

You can set up unlimited email accounts with your Basic Hosting plan.

How do I set up Basic Hosting email to work with my Gmail account?

To set up your Email, you'd follow these steps:

  1. Click on the "Accounts and Imports" tab inside of your Gmail account.
  2. Press the "Add POP3 email account" button.
  3. When the box pops up, enter your email address.
  4. Google will now ask for a username/password.  The username is your full email address.  The password is the one shown under settings when you follow these steps:

  5. http://www.dynadot.com/community/help/question.html?aid=36

Change the pop server to pop.webhost.dynadot.com

"Always use a secure connection (SSL) when retrieving mail. Learn more" should be unchecked.
    Press the "Add Account" button.
  6. Go through to where it asks you how you want to send outbound email.  You can select GMail to send email or you can send it through our servers.  In either case, the from email address will still show as your domain email.
If you opt to send through our servers:

The SMTP Server is smtp.webhost.dynadot.com with a port of 25.
The username is your full email address again.
The password is the same as shown above
Select "unsecured connection."
